Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team at Petal & Poem. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for floristry and possess an eye for design, ensuring the delivery of exceptional floral arrangements for our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and create bespoke floral arrangements for a variety of occasions including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and corporate events.
Maintain the freshness and quality of the flowers, ensuring all arrangements meet our high standards.
Provide excellent customer service by advising clients on floral choices and care tips.
Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary to ensure availability of materials.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Uphold cleanliness and organisation in the workspace and display areas.
Assist in the delivery process as required, ensuring timely arrival and presentation of orders.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong creativity and an artistic flair, with a good understanding of colour theory and design principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
Capability to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of flower care and arrangements will be a distinct advantage.
